At Hull Magicians’ Circle, we are proud to be a diverse community of magicians in Hull and the surrounding areas, including East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. Not all of our members are full-time professional magicians—many are passionate hobbyists and magic enthusiasts who come together to share skills, techniques, and a genuine love for the art of magic.

Our club brings together performers of all levels, from beginners learning sleight of hand to experienced entertainers performing at weddings, corporate events, and private parties across the UK. This mix creates a welcoming environment where creativity, learning, and performance thrive.

If you’re looking to hire a magician in Hull, we have a range of professional performers available for bookings, including close-up magicians, wedding magicians, corporate entertainers, children’s party entertainers, balloon modellers, and stilt walkers. Whether it’s a private event, business function, or family celebration, our members can provide high-quality entertainment tailored to your event.

Ian Hayward

I’ve always been drawn to magic because it’s one of the few things that can make a grown adult feel like a curious kid again. For me, it’s not about being “fooled”—it’s about that split second of genuine wonder when the laws of physics seem to take a night off.

I love the storytelling aspect of it; the comedy is probably my favourite part of performing. I love that a performance challenges what we think is possible. Whether it’s the precision of sleight of hand or the psychology behind a mentalism act, I’m fascinated by the discipline required to make something incredibly difficult look like effortless miracles. Ultimately, I love magic because it turns the mundane into the extraordinary, reminding us that there’s still plenty of mystery left in the world.
