An Evening with Dave Jones – Magic, Comedy & Mentalism

Hull Magicians’ Circle is delighted to welcome Dave Jones for an entertaining and varied lecture covering magic, comedy and mentalism.

Designed to offer a genuine “something for everyone” evening, Dave will draw upon his extensive professional repertoire, using a wide variety of props, routines and ideas developed through years of performing for real audiences.

Rather than concentrating on one particular branch of magic, the lecture will explore different styles and approaches to performance. Expect strong magic, plenty of humour, thought-provoking mentalism and practical material that can be adapted to suit a range of performing situations.

Throughout the evening, Dave will share routines alongside the thinking, presentation and experience behind them, giving members ideas that they can take away and incorporate into their own magic.

With a career built around entertaining audiences at close-up, cabaret and stage events, Dave brings a wealth of real-world experience to the lecture.

Whether your interest lies in close-up magic, comedy, mentalism, cabaret or simply discovering something new, this promises to be a relaxed, entertaining and highly varied evening with something for everyone.
